Donor Services Specialist IIAmerican Red Cross - Flint, MIUnder direction from the Team Leader and Collections Supervisor, approves donor eligibility and promotes good donor care during the collection of safe blood units in accordance with all applicable compliance and safety directives. Demonstrates excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive, professional image of the ARCBS. Uses judgment in determining the fitness of the donor to donate blood. Performs venipuncture with the welfare of the donor as the primary concern. Provides nursing care to donors as needed, keeps abreast of changes in criteria and procedure and by so doing, practices good public relations which result in repeat donations.
