ASSOCIATE PROGRAMMER ANALYST (SPECIALIST)
Under general supervision of the Group manager and team lead, the incumbent independently performs complex COBOL programming and analysis work in Integrated Database Management System/Customer Information Control System environment. Typical tasks include: performing system analysis and design to meet customer needs; preparing systems and programming specifications; developing complex computer programs; serving as leader of a team of programmers on specific assignments within a project; developing procedures and documentation; preparing cost estimates and conducting walkthroughs; and preparing test plans, criteria and validating test activities with the customers, production services staff and others.
