Teach about the diversity and interdependence of life and inspire stewardship of the earth--Be a BioPark Docent!!City of Albuquerque Biopark - Albuquerque, NMThe mission of the City of Albuquerque Biological Park (BioPark) Education is to teach about the diversity and interdependence of life and inspire stewardship for the earth. Volunteer teachers, called docents, enable the BioPark to fulfill its education mission. Docents utilize the Albuquerque Aquarium, Rio Grande Botanic Garden and Rio Grande Zoo as a teaching resource by focusing on all the habitats represented and species exhibited. Docents are critical to the mission because they bring a knowledgeable and personal connection to thousands of people each year, both on-grounds and through outreach.
