Environmental, Safety and Health Officer- anticipatedSSI Services - Augusta, GAJOB FUNCTION: Manage all EHS functions. This includes Safety and Health training of SSI employees, inspection of machinery and equipment spaces, performing inspections of Hazardous Material Storage areas, and cooperating with Government Safety personnel on all related issues. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform inspections of mechanical and equipment spaces, hazardous materials storage areas, and all SSI work areas for Safety and Environmental concerns. Write reports on findings and work with the different branch personnel to correct unsafe conditions noted. Provide safety, health, and environmental training to SSI employees.
