This position is located in the Investigations Branch of the Baltimore District Office. The incumbent in this position works closely with the Branch Director in carrying out the diverse responsibility related to the mission(s) of the Branch and in performing special assignments peculiar to the position of the Branch Director. The assistant provides regular and continuing expert advice and guidance on the interpretation, intent, and impact or FDA laws, regulations, and programs, assures consistent and coordinated policy implementation, insures consistency, uniformity, fairness in the application of law and regulation, develops innovative ways of conducting branch business.
