Systems Administrator 3Northrop Grumman - Alexandria, VANorthrop Grumman Information Systems (NGIS), Defense Systems Division (DSD has an opportunity for a System Administrator. The System Administrator will perform backups for all servers so that in the event a server crashes or data becomes corrupted, it can be recovered from tape utilizing applications such as Veritas NetBackup. The candidate will ensure that data loss is limited to no more than 24 hours or since the last backup process was run on the server, whichever is shorter. Monitor, identify, and resolve all backup failures daily and notify the government task monitor of any potential for increased risk due to a failed backup.
