Chief Claims AttorneyZurich North America - Schaumburg, ILThis senior legal position provides legal advice and counsel to the executive vice president of claims and to other members of the organization's senior management group. The position also supports senior managers in the business and underwriting communities on claims and policy related issues and developing trends. The position interacts with claims, underwriting, the business units and the corporate law department on issues of systemic importance. The successful candidate will also manage the claims legal operations in Baltimore and Schaumburg which includes directing operations relating to management of coverage and coverage/extracontractual litigation and the provision of legal counseling and training to all parts of them claim department.
