  Job Summary: This position is responsible for the overall administration of all financial functions for the city government. Duties include supervision of the Finance Department to include payroll, accounting, accounts payable, utility billing, collections. Administers daily operations to include providing direction to personnel related to processing cash receipts, accounts payable/receivables, bank reconciliation, financial reports, bank deposits, and posting of funds. Assists City Manager with the development of the operating budget and capital improvements program. Responsible for overseeing financial reporting systems, comprehensive financial and accounting report preparation, monthly financial statements, and the internal auditing systems.
