The Women's Imaging Center opened in April 2008 and already has a backload of patients. Minimal call will be shared equally with the other Radiologist in the practice. They are offering bone density testing, dedicated breast MRI, digital mammography and ultrasound on site in the Center, which is located about a mile from the hospital. The U-Systems automated whole breast ultrasound device is the first and only of its kind in the State of Louisiana.
