Mechanical Engineer - SeniorFluor - Columbia, SC- Perform technical bid evaluations for rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, cooling towers, packaged equipment, thickeners, mills, piping, valves, pressure vessels, and tanks - Perform hydraulic calculations for solutions and slurries - Create piping and valve specifications - Review vendor drawings - Lead project (either in technical specialty or administratively) - Project assignments associated w/complex equipment - Check engineering and vendor documents for equipment specialty - Witness performance/mechanical tests - Assist field with equipment installation - Mentor or conduct training for entry and intermediate level engineers - Execute a work share project - Participate in Mechanical project audits - Participate in Mechanical Global activities and interact w/other offices...
