Department of Workforce Services - Salt Lake City, UTPhotographer/Editor needed for a Salt Lake area television station. Will go to news sites in all types of weather and tape events as they happen, gather all elements for a story alone. Will also shoot and edit S.O.T.'s, V.O.'s and packages on time for newscasts, community programs, and other duties as assigned. Required to work flexible hours/days (days/nights/weekends) and overtime; work with reporters to produce compelling, significant stories. Knowledge of all electronic news gathering and technical practices. Audio/video skills and lighting technique, and skilled in shot composition. Experience with Sony Beta SP and/or Panasonic DVC-PRO cameras or comparable equipment. Proficiency with non-linear and linear editing systems.
