BIOSTATISTICIANPharmacovigilance Center - Silver Spring, MDThe Pharmacovigilance Center (PVC) of the United States Army is recruiting for a Biostatistician in the Silver Spring area of Maryland. The PVC conducts research in the broad areas of pharmacovigilance and pharmacoepidemiology using large medical longitudinal data. The PVC focuses on signal detection, signal validation and hypothesis testing of known and unknown adverse drug events and performing pharmacoepidemiology studies. This is accomplished using observational studies and analyses of large longitudinal claims data enriched with data from electronic medical records.
