  The SOC Security Engineer will provide direct support to the Director/Deputy Directors in the JSOC. Lead the evening shift detection team that is responsible tor detection and analysis of network feeds for suspicious activity using various tools (ArcSight, NetWitness, Wireshark, syslogs, Einstein, HBGary responder). Tasks that are to be performed are as follows (not in any specific order): develops intrusion detection system (IDS) signatures for Enterasys Dragon or Snort sensors; compiles network blocks for identified malicious activities; configures tests and supports component implementation of the AppDetective database Security tool use in the Department of Justice; tracks component AppDetective licenses; Supports DOJ AppDetective users with use and troubleshooting; maintains a direct liaison...
