Boatswain Mate job in San Jose, CA - U.S. Coast Guard

We are looking for individuals to learn what it takes to be a Boatswains Mate (small boat operator) one weekend a month and two weeks each year in the Coast Guard Reserve. We will teach you the skills you need to help keep our waters free of environmental and terrorist threats, enforce maritime laws, provide aids to navigation, and search and rescue. As a Boatswains Mate in the Coast Guard Reserve, you will be one of the most versatile players of team Coast Guard. You will become a master of seamanship and be ready to respond to any situation.
