Tax Manager job in Stamford, CT

  Essential Functions: Assist VP - Tax Controller with implementation of internal control processes and procedures Prepare/review federal and state returns for taxable and tax-exempt corporations and partnerships with an emphasis on real estate and private equity investments Ensure accuracy and completeness of information provided to third party return preparers Assist with financial reporting (i.e., FAS109/FIN48) as required Assist with dispute resolution at the federal and state level; handle correspondence with federal/state authorities on related matters Prepare tax analysis as required including earnings and profits analysis and basis calculations Coordinate with both internal groups and external advisors Calculate, prepare and remit payments for extensions/estimates Assist with projects...
