Diet Technician - On CallMarianjoy Physical Rehabilitation Hospital - WisconsinThe Diet Technician provides direct nutrition care to patients and assists the Registered Dietitians. Specific Responsibilities: The Diet Technician monitors the computer printouts for diet orders and diet changes and verifies any discrepancies by checking orders in Meditech. You will record any changes in the cardex file and processes changes on the menu. You will evaluate, calculate, correct, and process patient selective menus according to food preferences and diet order. You will also answer the telephone and take messages. You will report any unsolved problems or concerns to the dietitians and provide nutritional screenings on new admissions when assigned. This is a support position to fill in for regularly scheduled employees.
