TMC Lakewood's Mental Health Department includes both inpatient and outpatient services. The inpatient unit is a 28-bed unit on two floors for people age 18 and over. The average length of stay is 5 days. The multidisciplinary team treats patients presenting with diagnoses that include Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Schizoaffective Disorder, and Substance Induced Mood Disorders. The outpatient services provide counseling and therapy to clients referred by numerous sources including the clinics at Lakewood and Probation and Parole offices.
