Founded in 1998 by a coalition of youth, educators, and community leaders, Literacy for Environmental Justice addresses the ecological and health concerns of Bayview Hunters Point and the surrounding communities of southeast San Francisco. In 2010, we will be opening the EcoCenter at Heron?s Head Park?the first environmental justice education facility in the Bay Area and SF?s first completely off-grid building. www.lejyouth.org
Title: Development & Communications Coordinator
Compensation: $37,500-$40,000 DOE plus full benefits; LEJ's normal office hours are M-F 9:00-6:00, but some evening/weekend work is required for this position.
