Healthcare Volunteer
The mission of VIM is to guide and promote the development of a national network of free clinics that use retired medical professionals, both retired and practicing, to care for the uninsured. Currently, there are more than 70 affiliated clinics is 23 states. Contact the one nearest you to find out how you can help (or contact the national office to learn about staring a clinic in your community). Continuing education is required for all professionals who volunteer. Time commitments are flexible.
