Requisition Number: 09-0964 Description A Polysomnographic Technologist I has learned the basic skills necessary to perform as a sleep technician in routine testing. Must be able to independently prepare patients, conduct routine PSG recordings, and collect all information pertinent to the interpretation of these tests. A - Review history, physical information, medications, procedure request, and study protocol. B - Complete and verify documentation. C - Explain the procedure and orient the patient to the sleep center. D - Prepare and calibrate equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning.
