After School Learning Center Volunteer Opportunity:
-Academic Support Volunteer
Homework help, tutoring, mentoring, and assistance with reading on a one-on-one basis or in small groups
-The Making of Technology Volunteer
Assist in teaching electronics and engineering (projects include race cars, rockets, electronic games, etc.)
Lead activities related to hands-on science and math projects to foster interest in these areas
-Radio/TV Studio Broadcast Volunteer (Note: Some experience in broadcasting technology preferred)
Aide in the broadcast of ERfC Radio, located in the JFK Middle School
Help students produce commercials, advertisements, and news broadcasts at our TV studio, also located at JFK Middle School
Operate standard broadcasting equipment
