Volunteer Enforcement Corps (Volunteer)
The Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) is changing how we work for the citizens of Maryland! MDE is developing a volunteer base to help us perform some of our daily tasks in order to better serve the citizens of Maryland.
Volunteers will assist MDE in monitoring the amount of nonpoint source pollution entering Maryland waterways and the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Controlling and reducing this type of pollution will help to improve the health of the Chesapeake Bay and Marylands waterways.
Volunteers will participate in an orientation day where they will be introduced to MDE and the tasks they will be doing.
When the necessary number of volunteers has been recruited, orientation will be scheduled at the most convenient time for the volunteers.
