Buyer - PlannerAAR - Goldsboro, NCThe Buyer / Planner will be responsible for forecasting and planning needs to maintain proper inventory levels, inventory mix, and overall efficiency of the program, while ensuring that AAR is receiving the best possible price from respective vendors and OEM's. Rationalize all inventory programs parts OEM, PMA, Standard Hardware, and Nutt Option purchasing. - Develop and maintain an extrinsic forecast model for high dollar, high demand items based on expected and actual engine shop visits, workscope, module exposure rates, and scrap rates. - Produce a monthly optimized forecast, which combines the statistical forecast model and the logical forecast model into an overall forecast having an accuracy of 90% or better. - Produce monthly metrics to measure vendor performance, forecast...
