Work 12 hour shifts, 7 days on and 7 days off. Rotate between weeks of days and weeks of nights. Census average is 18. They run two physicians on during the day and one at night. The group does round on patients in the ICU. Pulmonary/Critical Care backup on staff. Work at only one hospital with 150 beds. Population is 16,000 and the drawing area is 60,000. This area offers Mediterranean climate and a ton of recreational activities. Only 70 miles from Sacramento. Very reasonable housing.
