Director of Development
The National Aviary is seeking a seasoned Director of Development. The ideal candidate will have experience in successfully securing government and foundation grants as well as program and exhibit sponsorships and individual gifts, including planned giving and endowment-building. The director will oversee all activities of the development department, including but not limited to the annual fund, membership acquisition and renewal, fundraising events, donor reporting and recognition, and file management. The director is a member of the National Aviarys senior management team. The position will report directly to the Executive Director. The salary is negotiable.
