Duties and Responsibilities: 1) Performs surgical procedures, interventional procedures, and necropsies as needed. 2) Performs clinical medicine as needed 3) Reviews study protocols with a focus on scientific and animal care content. 4) Provides leadership to animal care and technical staff. 5) Assists with training laboratory and technical staff. 6) Assists with developing animal models for research. 7) Shares after-hours, weekend and on-call duties.
