Tax Accountant Description: Tax Accountant Summary: Responsible for the preparation and filing of tax and information returns and reports as required by Federal, State and Local taxing authorities for WVUHS and subsidiary companies as assigned. Maintains knowledge of current tax laws and guidance and applies them appropriately within the WVUHS organization. Performs a wide range of professional accounting functions, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), to support the month-end financial statement process of WVUH. Completes documentation and schedules during WVUH month-end, budget preparation and external audit.
