PP-CS is responsible for the maintenance of the campus buildings and grounds and has staff strength of over 400. It also manages the purchase and operation of energy resources and provides specialized engineering and technical services. PP-CS is a department within the Facilities Services Control Unit. The HR Unit of PP-CS administers and interprets policies governing the following Unions: ACBCTC, AFSCME, UPTE, CUE and the UC Berkeley Personnel Policies for Staff Members (PPSM) and Executive personnel.
