The Deputy Director serves as the Director's principal administrator in the general operations of the museum. This includes the supervision of the bulk of the staff and the day-to-day operations of the museum, as well as the overall operations of the museum stores. Oversight and management of Museum facilities is a critical responsibility, including maintenance of systems, and security and safety of visitors and staff.
