Actuarial Analyst ITufts Health Plan - Watertown, MAThe Actuarial Analyst, under the direction of the Manager, is responsible for providing analytic support for the development, projection and evaluation of medical costs for all Tufts HP products. This individual serves as a key resource in the monthly development of claim reserves and THP financial results. Primary responsibilities include performing monthly analyses of Commercial and Medicare claims in order to set and evaluate claim reserve levels and to project future medical costs. These analyses will include measuring emerging experience relative to budget and recent forecasts and will determine completion factors to be used in reporting on clinical initiatives and in employer group underwriting.
