In this role the a/p specialist will compile and maintain accounts payable records by performing the following duties: ? Check and approve all vouchers for payment. ? Input invoice batches and review purchase price variances. ? Answers all vendor inquiries. ? Analyze vendor accounts and negotiate cash discounts. ? Prepare accounts payable checks. ? Print all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files. ? Prepare analysis of accounts, as required. ? Prepare monthly close accruals. ? Assist in other areas of the accounting department as necessary.
