Friendly Visitors Program
Volunteers in this program may find themselves adopting a resident for whom they provide social visits, cards and/or visits on holidays and birthdays, and share time exploring a resident?s past and current interests and abilities. These activities help strengthen our resident?s self-esteem through a friendly exchange of ideas and experiences. Other volunteers enjoy giving special attention to residents around a specific task for which they need assistance such as minor sewing, letter writing, reading, and nail care.
