In Vivo Target ID Validation Senior//Principal Scientist (Oncology)Pfizer - La Jolla, CAPosition Purpose: - Through collaborations and internal efforts, apply molecular genetic and pharmacology approaches to functionally identify and validate cancer targets using advanced in vivo models of disease. Organizational Relationships: - Reports in to Group Leader Target ID & Val or Head Disease Specialty Area Primary Duties: - Lead a lab group and manage collaborations focused on identifying and validating cancer targets in advanced animal models. - Apply molecular genetic approaches to modulate targets in vivo, assess functional impact on cancer initiation and progression in efforts to identify and validate cancer targets.
