Virginia City Hybrid Energy Center is a new coal and wood waste fired power plant in the Southwest Virginia Coal Region, with a net generating capacity of approximately 585 MW. The Virginia City site is located near St. Paul, Virginia. This facility is currently under construction and has a commercial operation date of July 17, 2012.
