Assistant Production WinemakerDiageo - Sonoma, CAPurpose The role exists to support Production in managing the wine processing operations at Sonoma ensuring SOPs are maintained and evolved to meet new winemaking standards. Oversee daily cellar and wine processing operations, laboratory quality control, WIPS database and recordkeeping. Expect to maintain quality and value of wines in tanks. Monitor daily operations in the Production Lab ensuring that the wine received is analyzed and bottled within specification and on schedule. Other responsibilities include coordinating Food Safety program ensuring that the Cellar complies with policies set forth by the Diageo Risk Management Team. Financial Responsibility Provide support for day-to-day cellar-related activities of 9.5 millions gallons of premium wine per year.
