Intermountain Health Care - American Fork, UTThis position will provide coding coverage to HIM departments in the assignment of ICD-9-CM diagnosis and procedure codes with the appropriate DRG assignment, and CPT-4 procedure codes as well as appropriate ASC assignment in order to ensure a valid database to be used for research, reporting, quality improvement activities, reduce AR days, and maximum reimbursement. Qualifications Must have working knowledge of ICD-9-CM and CPT coding systems, a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) in active standing with the American Health Information Management Association or eligible to sit for such.
