Responsible for comparing a patients clinical and financial records to assure that the documentation provided supports the patient charges listed.
Responsible for assessments of retrospective healthcare utilization, ensure correct medical coding while collaboratively assisting the Charge Description Master (CDM) coordinator.
Participates in the evaluation of the quality of charge entry and medical documentation by department personnel and seeks opportunities to improve process and performance.
Job Essentials:
