Senior Cost AccountantLighthouse Mgmt. Group - Santa Clara, CAThe Senior Cost Accountant will handle accounting activities for inventories, COGS, variance analysis, and reporting gross margin trends. The successful candidate will also prepare the monthly inventory reconciliation, coordinate the annual physical inventory, review standard costs and work on various ad hoc projects assigned by management. Requirements: Accounting/Finance degree desired.Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting practices.Minimum 5+ years previous cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in MS Office Suite.Good oral and written communication skills.Comfortable working in a high-growth, start-up environment with some overtime necessary during peak periods.Experience with QAD accounting software and PowerPoint preferred but not required.
