SENIOR PSYCHIATRISTCounty of Shasta - Redding, CAUnder the direction of the Mental Health Medical Chief, to provide psychiatric, diagnostic, and therapeutic services to clients of Shasta County Mental Health; to provide psychiatric consultation to medical and psychiatric personnel and to community agencies; and to do related work as required. Senior Psychiatrist is the journey level class in the Psychiatrist series. Incumbents, under the supervision of the Mental Health Medical Chief, provide psychiatric supervision and consultation to outpatient psychiatric and medical personnel, i.e., Psychiatrist, Medication Nurses, medical personnel, and substance abuse counselors.
