Sr. Engineering Technician IIMactec - Reno, NVKey Responsibilities * Supervises and performs field tests of materials for conformance to specifications and acceptance principles and practices * Samples and performs air, slump and temperature of concrete mixes * Makes test cylinders * Obtains samples of roadway asphalt mixes * Performs ignition, sieving and maximum theoretical density, coring and bulk density tests * Performs atterberg limit tests, cleanliness, specific gravity and maximum density and optimum moisture determinations, and soils, aggregate and asphalt densities using nuclear gauges * Documents all tests and calculations electronically Basic/Required Qualifications * Must have experience working with soils, asphalt and concrete * Must have current NAQTC density, aggregate and asphalt, ACI Field Tech I and nuclear...
