LIBRARY TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (SAFETY)
This position is Limited Term due to the Internal Hiring Freeze. Tenure may change to Permanent Full Time in the future. A Library Technical Assistant (Safety) (LTA) is responsible for the daily operation of the inmate Libraries. Circulation of Library materials, including processiang and repair of returned items; upkeep and maintenance of circulation files; distribution of recreational reading materials; training and supervsion of inmate clerks; processing of parole lists and institutional transfer lists to identify departing inmates with books checked out; processing and distributing of overdue notices.
