Accountant SeniorCablevision Systems - New YorkResponsible for the review and preparation of balance sheet and income statement account analysis and monthly journal entries for select Rainbow international entities. Perform accounting for transactions in a foreign currency. Prepares comprehensive comparisons of actual results to budget and forecast. Reviews Payment Authorization forms and Travel and Entertainment reports to ensure proper general ledger coding, proper approval levels, and adequacy of the supporting documentation. Meets with internal and external auditors as necessary. Will have interactions with various levels of management including Rainbow corporate and operational finance, tax (domestic and international/statutory), accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
