Healthcare Volunteer
Much of the day-to-day activity you see when you visit Saddleback Memorial Medical Center is performed by volunteer-based services organizations. These dedicated workers offer their time and expertise so key patient services are available 24X7, 365 days a year. In-service volunteers deliver X-rays, lab specimens, flowers and coffee. They take photos of newborn babies and serve as hospital tour guides. They handcraft tray favors for patient meal trays and Meals on Wheels clients, and create one-of-a-kind crafts for the yearly fundraising bazaar. There?s even a special group that delivers flowers and gifts to donors, board members, employees and volunteers when they are patients in the hospital.
