Laboratory Manager IHoward Hughes Medical Institute - La Jolla, CAJob Summary: The Howard Hughes Medical Instute has an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Manager to join a laboratory at the UCSD in San Diego, CA. The laboratory manager will supervise and perform technical and administrative tasks in a small to medium size laboratory. Oversee and manage animal colony. Oversee equipment maintenance. Insure adequate supplies for experimental needs. Assist Investigator in personnel management. Manage lab safety programs to insure compliance with all applicable regulations. Assist in laboratory space and facilities planning; make recommendations for changes; maintain inventory of laboratory furniture, equipment and supplies.
