We promote a foreign policy rooted in support for human rights and democracy, spending priorities that back communities' real needs, and prevention of conflicts through diplomatic means. We work to end the war in Iraq, prevent war with Iran, reduce the deadly world trade in guns, grenades, and landmines, and build opposition to nuclear weapons stockpiles and development. Peace Action West is seeking several interns for an unpaid 16-20 hour/week internship as part of our issue advocacy campaigns beginning May/June 2008 ? August 2008. Schedule is flexible.
