Alliant Techsystems, Inc. (atk) - Hampton, VAATK is seeking a structural impact/crash analyst to support multi-terrain impact testing and analysis of energy absorbing concepts for spacecraft and aircraft. The effort will be in support of NASAas Subsonic Rotary Wing (SRW) Crashworthiness Program and the Orion Landing System Advanced Development Project at NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) in Hampton, Virginia. The candidate must be proficient in using LS-DYNA to predict the nonlinear transient response of structures to controlled and uncontrolled multi-terrain impact/landing events. Pre-/post-processing experience with either MSC.PATRAN or Hyperworks is required.
