Pastor of Student Ministries Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Student ministries {6-12th grades} (90 % of time) - To develop a program of ministry that has a balance of winning teens to Christ, building up teens in their faith, equipping teens for ministry, and developing leadership in teens. - To be responsible for the Biblical instruction that occurs in the youth ministry - To plan and lead the J-Crew meetings throughout the week - To develop a leadership team that includes both teens and adults - To follow up those who are new to the ministry or who have been absent - To maintain regular contact with teens outside of the church setting (visiting, writing notes, attending their events, e-mail, telephone contact, etc.) - To oversee staffing of Junior & Senior High Sunday...
