*REGISTERED NURSE MEDICAL RECORDS ABSTRACTORRush University Medical Center - Chicago, ILOur out-patient practices are transitioning from a paper chart system to an electronic record system. You will perform comprehensive review of medical charts and abstract required patient health information; assign appropriate ICD-9 codes. Flag pertinent patient information and physician documentation for scanning into the electronic medical records. Current Illinois RN licensure required. Should have knowledge of the medical record documentation process in order to identify pertinent health information. Previous Quality experience and/or ambulatory/outpatient experience preferred.
