The Telephone Healthcare Nurse (THN) is a registered nurse assigned to the Primary Care Service Line. It is a complex role requiring flexibility and independent decision-making as well as multidiscipline collaboration. The THN is responsible for adhering to established policies and guidelines and will demonstrate a high degree of clinical expertise in making decisions that impact patients and their care. Additionally, the THN functions as a patient advocate to facilitate accessibility to care.
