Kforce Finance & Accounting Staffing - Denver, COOur client, a rapidly growing oil and gas company, is currently hiring an Accounting Supervisor. This position will handle several key functions including, but not limited to: * Oversee assigned operational accounting functions, including supervision of staff accountants (3 - 5) * Help manager with gross margin calculation and analysis * Work with manager on monthly financial statement review, including budget vs. actual analysis, key operating statistics and price/volume variances * Fill in\help staff during absences, vacations, and heavy work load periods * Will need to learn details\responsibilities of all positions within the department * Work with manager to monitor department controls and daily\monthly\quarterly processes * Help train staff as needed * Prepare various reports as needed...
